We choose camping locations based of weather, route, safety and availability.  Often our trips are a combination of camping and lodging.  This is not because we don’t like to dry camp, its about where we are, weather and other factors.

Let us know what you have and don’t have and we will tell you if you are good to go or not.

Good preparation and smart driving is the key to not having a mechanical failure.  You are in charge of your vehicle.  Our team has extensive experience in assessing mechanical failures on the trail and assisting in the repair or figuring out how to extract the vehicle to a location for assistance.

You should come prepared to handle any basic mechanical needs for your specific vehicle. 

OVBAJA can tailor routes for beginners. If you are a novice off road driver just email us and ask when you can join an adventure that suits your skill level or gather a group of your friends and let’s go!

OVBaja partners with groups to provide customized trips based on whatever you feel like experiencing.  Anything from advanced 4x4 trips to simply camping in one spot, to experiencing fine culinary foods and wine tasting in the Guadelupe Valley.  For customized trips we require a minimum rate of 3 vehicles, double occupancy.  You name we can make it happen.  Simply email us and let's talk.

Mexico is like any other country. The culture is different and it requires common sense, respect and attention. We work hard to insure a safe and secure trip for our guests. Before our scheduled trips we often pre-run routes in faster vehicles (Moto’s and UTV’s) to cover large sections of terrain and gain a knowledgeable assessment of open passage.

Your Requirement - Your job is to listen to instructions, abide by the laws of Mexico and respect culture and environment. Insure that your rig is secured by using locks for spares, and gear. We make every effort to overnight in locations that are safe and beautiful. Often we will camp on private ranches with pre-arranged reservations.

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your spot on one of our trips.

Trips can be cancelled for various reasons such as weather, international border mandates, the minimum amount of attendee’s was not met, etc. OVBaja will credit any reservations toward the next trip. All trips are priced per vehicle with double occupancy.  Additional charges may apply for more than 2 people per vehicle.  All attendee’s must possess a valid US Passport Persons under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. OVBaja reserves the right to refuse services to anyone they feel poses a risk to the trip and its attendee’s.
